COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream (25ml) — Korean Eye Cream with 72% Snail Secretion Filtrate & Peptide Complex-5 | Niacinamide, Adenosine & Hyaluronic Acid | Reduces Dark Circles, Fine Lines & Puffiness | All Ages & Skin Types | Made in Korea
Five Peptides, 72% Snail Mucin, and One Eye Area That Finally Looks Rested
The periorbital zone is the most demanding area in any skincare routine. The skin here is three to five times thinner than the rest of the face, contains fewer oil glands, experiences more movement per day than any other skin area, and is the first place to show the cumulative effects of dehydration, fatigue, UV damage, and the natural decline in collagen production that begins in the mid-20s.
Most eye creams address one or two of these concerns. The COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream, available at thealoy.com, addresses all of them — systematically, in a single lightweight formula that the brand accurately describes as a "non-heavy, double-functioning eye cream that visibly brightens the eye area."
At its core is 72% Snail Secretion Filtrate — one of the highest concentrations of snail mucin in a dedicated eye cream formula available in the Korean skincare market. Snail Secretion Filtrate is a bioactive complex containing glycoproteins, glycosaminoglycans, hyaluronic acid, copper peptides, antimicrobial peptides, Allantoin, and trace elements. It is the most comprehensive single ingredient available for simultaneous skin repair, hydration, and regeneration.
Built around this foundation is a Peptide Complex-5 — five scientifically distinct peptide types, each targeting a different mechanism of periorbital ageing: collagen synthesis, elastin repair, wrinkle-signal inhibition, and growth factor stimulation. Alongside Niacinamide for dark circles, Adenosine for anti-ageing, and Hyaluronic Acid for deep hydration, this eye cream is a complete, clinically serious periorbital treatment in one elegant pump-dispenser tube.
Skin Type Suitability
The COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream is suited for all skin types and all ages — a claim COSRX makes explicitly, noting it is suitable for "20s, 30s, 70s, even teens — without over-nourishment":
- Young skin in the 20s — preventive use of Adenosine, peptides, and Hyaluronic Acid builds collagen reserves and maintains periorbital hydration before visible lines appear
- Skin in the 30s with early fine lines and crow's feet — the five-peptide complex and Adenosine work together to address early collagen loss and the first visible expression lines
- Mature skin in the 40s, 50s, and beyond — the full complement of skin-repairing Snail Mucin, collagen-stimulating peptides, and Adenosine delivers meaningful anti-ageing support to more established fine lines and loss of firmness
- Skin with dark circles — Niacinamide progressively brightens pigmentary dark circles; the antioxidant trio of Tocopherol, Snail Mucin, and the peptide complex addresses oxidative and vascular components
- Dehydrated or dry eye area — Sodium Hyaluronate and Glycerin deliver sustained deep moisture; Snail Mucin provides additional long-lasting hydration
- Sensitive periorbital skin — the fragrance-free, hypoallergenic formula with Allantoin and Panthenol is one of the most widely tolerated eye creams available, even for those who typically react to conventional eye products
- Oily and combination skin — the lightweight, non-heavy texture absorbs completely without greasiness or occlusion, making this comfortable for all skin types including those who usually avoid rich eye creams
Who Is This Product For?
The COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream was designed for anyone who is serious about caring for the eye area — and wants a formula that genuinely delivers on its claims:
- Those who have been using facial moisturiser as an eye cream and want to make the step up to a dedicated, targeted periorbital treatment without spending heavily
- People at any age who have noticed the eye area looking more tired, more lined, or more discoloured than the rest of the complexion, and want a single product that addresses all of those concerns simultaneously
- Those who specifically want the proven benefits of snail mucin — one of the most documented repair and regeneration actives in Korean skincare — in a formulation specifically calibrated for the delicate eye area
- Skincare enthusiasts who understand peptides and want access to the full five-peptide complex (Copper Tripeptide-1, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7) in a single eye cream
- Anyone in Bangladesh searching for the best Korean eye cream for dark circles and fine lines, the best snail mucin eye cream in Bangladesh, or the best anti-ageing eye cream available in Bangladesh — now at thealoy.com with verified authenticity
Who Should Avoid This Product?
The COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream is fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, and formulated to be broadly compatible, but the following should take care:
- Those with known snail allergy — the formula is 72% Snail Secretion Filtrate. Those with documented allergies to snail-derived cosmetic ingredients must avoid this product. If uncertain, patch test on the inner wrist for 24 hours before periorbital use
- Those seeking a completely vegan formula — Snail Secretion Filtrate is an animal-derived ingredient. This eye cream is not vegan. Those requiring strictly vegan formulas should choose an alternative
- Those with very oily under-eye skin who are prone to milia — while the formula is lighter than many traditional eye creams, it contains emollient fatty acids (Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Myristic Acid). In rare cases, very oily periorbital skin may respond better to a gel-type eye serum
- Pregnant women — the formula avoids parabens and fragrance, but as with all new skincare products, consulting your OB-GYN or dermatologist before use during pregnancy is always advisable
Skin Concerns It Helps With
The COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream delivers targeted action across all major periorbital skin concerns:
- Fine lines and crow's feet — Peptide Complex-5 and Adenosine stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis, progressively reducing the depth of expression lines and improving skin firmness with consistent use
- Dark circles (pigmentary) — Niacinamide inhibits melanin transfer, progressively brightening the under-eye discolouration that accumulates from UV exposure and hyperpigmentation
- Dark circles (vascular and structural) — Copper Tripeptide-1 supports the integrity of the delicate capillaries beneath the periorbital skin; Snail Mucin improves overall skin quality and thickness, making the thinning that makes blood vessels visible beneath the skin less pronounced over time
- Puffiness and morning swelling — the lightweight, cooling formula reduces the appearance of under-eye puffiness; Betaine supports cellular fluid balance; the absence of heavy oils means no additional occlusion that can worsen morning swelling
- Loss of elasticity and skin thinning — the full five-peptide complex addresses multiple mechanisms of collagen loss, supporting the periorbital skin's structural integrity and visible firmness
- Dehydration and dry patches — 72% Snail Mucin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerin, and Betaine create a comprehensive hydration system that maintains the delicate eye area in an optimally plump and moisturised state
- Damaged skin barrier — Snail Mucin, Allantoin, and Panthenol collectively repair and strengthen the skin barrier around the eyes, reducing sensitivity and moisture loss
- Environmental damage and premature ageing — Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) and the antioxidant properties of Snail Mucin neutralise free radical damage from UV radiation and pollution, protecting the periorbital skin from the environmental oxidative stress that accelerates visible ageing
- Post-irritation recovery — the high Allantoin and Snail Mucin content make this particularly effective for calming irritated, sensitised, or over-exfoliated periorbital skin
What Results Can You Realistically Expect?
Results depend on the condition of the eye area, skin type, age, consistency of use, and the overall skincare routine. Here is an honest, realistic timeline:
Immediately and within the first 7 days:
The lightweight formula absorbs completely without stickiness or heaviness. Skin around the eyes feels noticeably more hydrated and softer from the first use. The immediate soothing effect of Snail Mucin, Allantoin, and Panthenol provides visible relief to tired or sensitised periorbital skin. The eye area looks more rested and refreshed from early in the routine.
Around 14 days:
The cumulative hydration from Snail Mucin and Hyaluronic Acid becomes progressively more apparent — fine dehydration lines soften, and the under-eye area maintains a more consistent plumpness throughout the day. The early brightening effect of Niacinamide on pigmentary dark circles begins to emerge. Skin texture around the eyes typically becomes smoother and more refined.
At 30 days and beyond:
The collagen-stimulating action of Peptide Complex-5 and Adenosine becomes measurably more evident with consistent twice-daily use — fine lines appear less pronounced, skin firmness improves, and the overall eye area looks younger and more rested with a visible, natural glow. Pigmentary dark circles progressively fade. The "youthful glow" that COSRX describes as the product's ultimate benefit begins to be consistently noticeable.
Results may vary depending on skin type, age, severity of existing concerns, consistency of use, and overall skincare routine. This is a cosmetic eye cream and does not replace dermatological treatment for medical skin conditions.
How to Use
Step 1 — Complete your skincare routine up to and including your essence, serum, or ampoule step before applying the eye cream.
Step 2 — Dispense one pump — a rice-grain to pea-sized amount is sufficient for both eye areas. The formula is concentrated; using too much does not improve results and can cause product migration.
Step 3 — Apply with your ring finger. The ring finger exerts the least pressure, making it the ideal applicator for the fragile periorbital skin. Never pull, drag, or rub.
Step 4 — COSRX's recommended technique: Apply around your left eye in a clockwise direction and your right eye counterclockwise — drawing a gentle circle from the under-eye bottom, up to the outer corner, and along the orbital bone above. This circular motion promotes gentle lymphatic drainage while distributing the product evenly.
Step 5 — Tap gently with your ring finger until the product is fully absorbed. The tapping motion improves penetration and stimulates gentle circulation in the under-eye area.
Recommended frequency: Twice daily — morning and evening, after serum/essence and before moisturiser.
Morning tip: Follow with a broad-spectrum SPF. UV protection is the most important complement to any eye treatment, as UV exposure is a primary driver of dark circles, fine lines, and periorbital photoageing.
Evening tip: Apply a slightly more generous amount at night to allow the Peptide Complex-5, Snail Mucin, and Adenosine to work through the skin's overnight repair cycle.
Makeup base tip: The fragrance-free, fast-absorbing formula sits cleanly under concealer and does not cause pilling or move during the day — making it excellent as a daily base for under-eye coverage.

Snail Secretion Filtrate (72%)
The cornerstone of this formula and the reason it delivers such comprehensive repair results. At 72%, this is not a trace inclusion — it is the dominant active ingredient. Snail Secretion Filtrate is chemically a complex mixture of proteoglycans, glycosaminoglycans, glycoprotein enzymes, hyaluronic acid, copper peptides, antimicrobial peptides, Allantoin, and trace elements including copper, zinc, and iron. Together, these components deliver simultaneous hydration, skin barrier repair, cellular regeneration, collagen stimulation, and antimicrobial action. In the periorbital context, the combination of healing, hydrating, and regenerative properties makes a high-concentration snail mucin formula uniquely well-suited for the thin, damage-prone skin around the eyes.
Peptide Complex-5 (Five Distinct Peptide Types)
The defining differentiator of this eye cream over COSRX's original snail creams. Five peptide types are included, each acting through a distinct mechanism:
- Copper Tripeptide-1 — A copper-complexed tripeptide with documented ability to stimulate wound healing, collagen and elastin synthesis, and angiogenesis. It is one of the most studied and effective peptides in anti-ageing dermatology and has been shown in clinical settings to improve skin firmness, reduce wrinkle depth, and support the integrity of delicate capillary beds — relevant for the vascular component of dark circles
- Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (Argireline) — A signal-blocking hexapeptide that inhibits the neuromuscular signals responsible for repetitive facial contractions — the mechanism that deepens crow's feet and expression lines over time. It is often described as a topical muscle-relaxing ingredient and is widely used in professional anti-ageing eye treatments
- Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 (Matrixyl) — One of the most comprehensively studied anti-ageing peptides. Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 stimulates the synthesis of collagen I, III, and IV, as well as fibronectin and hyaluronic acid in the dermis — rebuilding the structural matrix that deteriorates with ageing
- Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 — Works synergistically with Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 as part of the Matrixyl 3000 combination, stimulating collagen synthesis and inhibiting the inflammatory signals that accelerate collagen breakdown
- Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 — Reduces the production of inflammatory interleukins that damage collagen, working at the inflammation-ageing intersection to prevent ongoing structural deterioration. Combined with Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, this forms the most clinically validated commercially available peptide duo for anti-ageing
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)
A multi-functional active that brightens pigmentary dark circles by inhibiting melanin transfer, strengthens the skin barrier through ceramide synthesis, reduces redness and inflammation, and improves overall skin tone evenness. In this formula, its most visible contribution for most users is progressive brightening of the under-eye area.
Adenosine
A KFDA-approved anti-wrinkle active that stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis, improving skin firmness and reducing the depth of fine lines and wrinkles with consistent daily use. Its inclusion alongside Peptide Complex-5 creates a multi-pathway anti-ageing approach — peptides rebuilding the structural matrix while Adenosine stimulates new collagen production.
Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid)
The most effective humectant in skincare. Sodium Hyaluronate penetrates the skin and draws water from the environment into the deeper layers, maintaining the plump, hydrated periorbital skin that minimises the appearance of fine lines and under-eye hollowing.
Allantoin
A naturally derived compound with documented wound-healing, skin-soothing, and cell regeneration-promoting properties. Allantoin reduces inflammation, accelerates recovery of compromised skin, and improves the skin's overall texture and smoothness. It is also a natural component of Snail Secretion Filtrate, present here in additional supplementary concentration.
Panthenol (Vitamin B5)
A pro-vitamin that converts to Pantothenic Acid in the skin, supporting barrier repair, moisture retention, and the relief of irritation and inflammation. Panthenol's soothing, healing properties make the formula exceptionally gentle and restorative for sensitive periorbital skin.
Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)
A stable antioxidant that protects skin cells from oxidative damage generated by UV radiation and environmental pollutants — neutralising the free radical activity that accelerates periorbital ageing and contributes to the discolouration of dark circles.
Betaine
A naturally derived amino acid compound that acts as both a humectant and an osmoprotectant, helping skin cells maintain their internal water balance under dehydration stress. It also contributes mild soothing properties to the formula.
Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil
A lightweight, non-comedogenic plant oil rich in Linoleic Acid (Omega-6) and Vitamin E. Sunflower Seed Oil conditions and nourishes the periorbital skin barrier without heaviness, and its Linoleic Acid content helps regulate the lipid balance of the eye area.
Arginine
An amino acid with documented wound-healing and skin-hydrating properties. Arginine supports the repair processes initiated by the Snail Mucin and Peptide Complex, contributing to the formula's overall skin regeneration capability.
About COSRX
COSRX is one of the most globally recognised and trusted South Korean skincare brands, with a story that began from a genuinely personal place. COSRX was founded in 2013 by Jeon Sanghoon, who had very sensitive skin and found himself unable to use most of the skincare products available in the market. Within a year, COSRX products were generating buzz among the international skincare community with customers reporting tangible results.
The name "COSRX" combines "cosmetics" and "Rx" (prescription), reflecting the brand's commitment to developing products that serve as remedies for skin issues. With a philosophy centred on minimalism and functionality, COSRX focuses on creating products with high concentrations of active ingredients while eliminating unnecessary additives.
In 2023, COSRX became a subsidiary of Amorepacific, South Korea's leading beauty conglomerate, further solidifying its position in the international skincare market. Today, COSRX is sold in over 140 countries, loved by skincare enthusiasts, dermatologists, and beauty editors worldwide.
The Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream continues the brand's celebrated Advanced Snail line — building on the cult success of the Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence and advancing it with a targeted, five-peptide formulation designed specifically for the periorbital area.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Snail Secretion Filtrate and is it safe?
Snail Secretion Filtrate is a bio-active filtrate derived from the secretion of the Cornu Aspersum (garden snail) under controlled, stress-induced conditions. Chemically, it is a complex mixture of proteoglycans, glycoproteins, hyaluronic acid, copper peptides, antimicrobial peptides, Allantoin, and trace minerals. It is one of the most comprehensively documented repair and regeneration actives in Korean cosmetic science. At 72% concentration, it is both safe and highly effective for daily periorbital use.
What is Peptide Complex-5 and why are five peptides better than one?
Each of the five peptide types works through a different biological mechanism. Copper Tripeptide-1 stimulates collagen and wound healing. Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 inhibits muscle-contraction signals that deepen expression lines. Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 stimulates collagen I, III, and IV synthesis. Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Tetrapeptide-7 work synergistically to stimulate collagen while inhibiting the inflammatory processes that break it down. No single peptide covers all these mechanisms — the five-peptide system addresses periorbital ageing from multiple directions simultaneously.
Is this eye cream suitable for sensitive or reactive skin?
Yes — it is fragrance-free and hypoallergenic, and COSRX specifically markets it as suitable for sensitive skin. Allantoin and Panthenol provide additional soothing support, and the formula is free from the common irritants (fragrance, alcohol, mineral oils, parabens) that trigger reactions in sensitive periorbital skin. Those with snail-specific sensitivity should patch test first.
Can this eye cream cause milia?
The formula is lighter than many traditional eye creams and specifically described by COSRX as "non-heavy." Milia are more commonly associated with very heavy, occlusive eye creams. The lightweight texture of this formula is designed to minimise that risk. Those with particularly milia-prone under-eyes should apply only the required small amount and avoid over-application.
Is this eye cream fragrance-free?
Yes. This is one of the formula's most important qualities for periorbital use — the eye area is more fragrance-sensitive than the rest of the face. The COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream is completely fragrance-free.
Is the original COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream available in Bangladesh?
Yes. You can purchase the 100% authentic COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream (25ml) directly at thealoy.com — Bangladesh's trusted online Korean skincare destination with fast home delivery available nationwide.
How long does a 25ml pump bottle last?
With twice-daily use of one pump per application, a 25ml bottle typically lasts 3 to 4 months — providing excellent value for a formula with 72% Snail Secretion Filtrate and a five-peptide complex.
Can I use this with Retinol or Vitamin C?
Yes. This eye cream is intended as a final moisturising step after serums. If using Vitamin C serum, apply it first and allow absorption before the eye cream. For retinol users — avoid applying retinol directly to the periorbital area (the skin is too thin and sensitive for direct retinol use). Use this eye cream in both morning and evening routines regardless of whether you use retinol in the rest of the routine.
At what age should I start using this eye cream?
COSRX explicitly states this is suitable for "20s, 30s, 70s, even teens." Preventive use from the late teens or early 20s is consistent with Korean skincare philosophy — maintaining collagen levels, hydration, and skin barrier integrity before visible deterioration begins is significantly more effective than attempting correction after it has occurred.
Does this eye cream help with deep-set, genetic dark circles?
Niacinamide effectively addresses the pigmentary component of dark circles (melanin accumulation from UV exposure and hormonal factors). Copper Tripeptide-1 supports the vascular component. Structural dark circles caused by very deep orbital fat loss or bony anatomy respond less to topical treatment. Significant hydration and barrier improvement, however, can visibly improve the shadowing effect associated with under-eye thinning and hollowing.
For external use only. Do not get into eyes. If product contacts the eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with clean water. If irritation or allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
