Perioe Care Toothbrush — Soft Bristles, Peanut-Grip Handle (4+4 Pack, 8 Brushes) | Korean Daily Toothbrush by LG H&H | Gentle on Gums, Comfortable Grip | Made in Korea
A Toothbrush Designed Around How You Actually Hold It
Most toothbrushes focus entirely on the bristle head and treat the handle as an afterthought. The Perioe Care Toothbrush, available at thealoy.com, takes the opposite approach. Its handle is shaped like a peanut, narrowing and widening at precise points so your fingers settle naturally into place instead of sliding around a straight, featureless grip. That shape matters more than it sounds: a handle that sits comfortably in your hand reduces the urge to grip too hard, which is one of the most common reasons people brush more aggressively than their gums can handle.
That comfortable grip is paired with a soft-bristle head, finely tapered and densely packed to reach into the small gaps along the gumline and between teeth without feeling harsh against soft tissue. The result is a toothbrush that feels gentle in daily use while still clearing away plaque and food residue effectively, which is exactly what a twice-daily essential should do — disappear into your routine rather than fight against it.
This pack comes as a set of eight brushes across four colours, a practical format for households that want to tell brushes apart at a glance or simply always have a fresh one within reach.
Who Is This Toothbrush For?
Sensitive or normal gums: It is ideal for individuals who want a reliable daily brush that cleans thoroughly without leaving their teeth or gums feeling raw and irritated afterward.
Slippery-handle frustration: This design is perfect for anyone who has struggled with toothbrush handles that feel awkward or slide around, especially when brushing with wet or soapy hands.
Shared bathrooms and families: It suits households where colour-coded brushes make it exceptionally easy for each family member to identify and keep track of their own toothbrush.
Frequent replacers: It benefits those who prefer to replace their toothbrush every few weeks for hygiene reasons and want a reliable, cost-effective multi-pack on hand rather than buying single brushes repeatedly.
Bangladesh shoppers: It is excellent for anyone actively searching for the best soft bristle toothbrush in Bangladesh or an original Korean toothbrush in Bangladesh, now available with verified authenticity at thealoy.com.
Who Should Avoid This Product?
Crowded or tight teeth under dental advice: This product may not be ideal for those specifically advised by a dentist to use an extra-slim or interdental brush as their primary cleaning tool, since this features a standard-head daily brush rather than a specialised orthodontic design.
Recent oral or gum surgery: Patients should always confirm with their dentist before resuming regular brushing with any standard toothbrush, including this one, following a major dental procedure.
Known material sensitivity: Individuals with a known sensitivity to the specific plastic or rubber materials used in toothbrush handles should avoid it, though such allergies are quite uncommon.
After illness or wear: As a general precaution, users must replace this toothbrush immediately after a cold, flu, or mouth infection, and every 2 to 3 months under normal use, since worn bristles lose their cleaning effectiveness and can harbour bacteria.
Oral Care Concerns It Helps With
Plaque buildup along the gumline: The soft, tapered bristle head is dense enough to dislodge plaque and food particles without requiring excessive pressure, which is often what pushes plaque deeper into the gumline rather than away from it.
Gum sensitivity and mild irritation from brushing too hard: The combination of soft bristles and an ergonomic handle naturally encourages a lighter brushing motion, which is much gentler on inflamed or receding gums.
Inconsistent grip leading to uneven cleaning: A handle that slips in your hand often means certain areas of the mouth get brushed less thoroughly; the peanut-shaped grip keeps the brush stable through the full two-minute routine.
Bad breath linked to surface bacteria: Regular, comfortable brushing twice a day is one of the most basic and effective ways to reduce the bacterial buildup that contributes to bad breath between meals.
Hygiene concerns from using an old or worn brush: Having a fresh, ready-to-use brush in the pack at all times makes it far easier to replace your toothbrush on schedule rather than stretching one brush for months past its useful life.
What Results Can You Realistically Expect?
Immediately: The soft bristle head glides smoothly over your teeth and along the gumline without the scratchy, harsh sensation that stiffer bristles produce. Additionally, the ergonomic, peanut-shaped handle settles comfortably and securely into your grip from the very first use.
Within the first week: Consistent twice-daily brushing with a soft, well-fitted brush typically results in a noticeably cleaner feel after every session. You will experience significantly less plaque buildup along the gumline compared to brushing with a worn-out or overly stiff brush.
With ongoing daily use: Gentle, consistent brushing supports healthier-looking gums over time and helps sustain the plaque-control benefits of your regular oral care routine. Individual results may vary depending on your unique oral health, brushing technique, replacement frequency, and overall habits like flossing and regular dental checkups.
How to Use
Wet first: Lightly wet the bristles with water before applying your toothpaste to help create an optimal lather.
Brush twice daily: For the best results, incorporate brushing into your routine twice every day, ideally once after breakfast and once right before going to bed.
Hold it naturally: Let the unique, peanut-shaped handle settle comfortably into your grip. Avoid squeezing too tightly, as the shape is specifically designed to stabilize the brush in your hand without requiring extra force.
Use gentle strokes: Focus on gentle, circular or short back-and-forth movements rather than harsh, scrubbing motions. Be sure to angle the bristles slightly toward the gumline to effectively clean both the teeth and the gum edges.
Brush for two minutes: Spend a full two minutes brushing to ensure you thoroughly cover the outer surfaces, inner surfaces, and chewing surfaces of all your teeth.
Rinse and dry: After you finish brushing, rinse the brush head thoroughly under running water. Store it upright in the open air so it can dry out completely between uses.
Replace on schedule: Switch to a fresh brush from the pack every 2 to 3 months, or even sooner if you notice the bristles beginning to splay, fray, or lose their original shape.
Design & Material Breakdown
Soft, Tapered Bristles The defining feature of the Care line. Bristles are finely tapered at the tip and arranged in a moderately dense pattern, allowing the brush to reach along the gumline and into the small gaps between teeth while keeping the sensation gentle rather than abrasive. This bristle profile is intended for daily, twice-a-day use rather than occasional deep cleaning, making it suited to long-term routine care.
Peanut-Shaped Ergonomic Handle Rather than a straight cylindrical grip, the handle narrows and widens at points that mirror where fingers naturally rest, which is where the "peanut" shape comes from. This design reduces slipping, particularly when hands are wet, and helps maintain a light, controlled grip throughout the full brushing session — supporting gentler technique without the user having to consciously think about it.
Compact, Rounded Brush Head Sized to move comfortably around the mouth and reach back molars without feeling bulky, the rounded head shape also reduces the risk of accidentally catching the inside of the cheek during brushing.
Four-Colour, 4+4 Pack Format The set includes eight toothbrushes split across four colours, a format designed for either family use, where each colour can be assigned to a different household member, or for personal use, where having multiple fresh brushes on hand makes regular replacement effortless.
About Perioe
Perioe is the flagship oral care brand of LG H&H, one of Korea's largest household and personal care manufacturers. The brand's history traces back to 1954, when LG H&H launched Korea's first domestically produced toothpaste under the name Lucky Toothpaste, which was later renamed Perioe in 1981, drawing on the word "periodontal" to reflect a focus on gum and overall oral health. Since then, Perioe has grown into a comprehensive total oral care brand spanning toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, and whitening products, and remains one of the most recognised and widely used oral care brands among Korean households today.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the peanut-shaped handle different from a regular toothbrush handle? A standard straight handle relies on you gripping it firmly to keep it steady, which often leads to pressing too hard against your teeth and gums. The peanut shape narrows and widens at points that match where your fingers naturally rest, so the brush stays stable in your hand with a lighter, more relaxed grip throughout your routine.
Is this toothbrush suitable for sensitive gums? Yes. The bristles are finely tapered and softer than standard-firmness bristles, making the brush gentler against inflamed, receding, or generally sensitive gums while still effectively clearing plaque from the gumline.
How many toothbrushes come in one pack, and how long will they last? Each pack contains 4+4 toothbrushes, 8 in total, across four colours. Dentists generally recommend replacing a toothbrush every 2 to 3 months, so one pack can comfortably cover an individual for over a year, or a household of multiple people for several months when split between family members.
Can the whole family use this one pack? Yes, that is one of the most practical aspects of the 4+4, four-colour format. Each family member can be assigned a colour, making it simple to avoid mixing up brushes in a shared bathroom.
Is the original Perioe Care Toothbrush available in Bangladesh? Yes. Purchase the 100% authentic Perioe Care Toothbrush, soft bristles, 4+4 pack, directly at thealoy.com — Bangladesh's trusted destination for genuine Korean personal care products with fast nationwide delivery.
How often should I really replace my toothbrush? As a general guideline, replace your toothbrush every 2 to 3 months, or immediately if the bristles look frayed or splayed, or after recovering from an illness such as a cold or flu. Having a multi-pack on hand, like this 4+4 set, makes it far easier to stick to that schedule.
Do I need a separate toothbrush for braces or orthodontic appliances? If you have braces or other orthodontic appliances, your dentist or orthodontist may recommend a specialised brush alongside your daily toothbrush. This Perioe Care Toothbrush is designed as a standard daily brush for general use rather than a dedicated orthodontic tool, so it is best used as advised by your dental professional if you have such appliances.
For external use only. Keep out of reach of young children during unsupervised brushing. Discontinue use and consult a dentist if you experience persistent gum irritation or bleeding. Store in a clean, dry area away from direct contact with other items.
