RYO Hair Loss Care Treatment (300ml) — Korean Hanbang Hair Treatment for Hair Loss, Thinning, Scalp Nourishment & Stronger Roots | Original Korean Haircare in Bangladesh
What This Treatment Is Actually For
Hair that sheds more than usual, looks thinner at the roots, or simply refuses to grow past a certain length — these are not problems that a regular conditioner can solve. They are scalp problems. And scalp problems require a different approach entirely.
The RYO Hair Loss Care Treatment is not a conditioner. It is a dual-action, MFDS-registered (Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety) functional hair treatment formulated specifically to address the root cause of hair thinning and hair loss — starting from the scalp, working all the way to the hair tip. Built on RYO's signature Hanbang philosophy — the application of traditional Korean herbal medicine to modern trichology — this treatment delivers a concentrated blend of whole Ginseng extract, scalp-stimulating actives, and deeply nourishing botanicals to reverse the signs of weakening hair.
What makes this particular formulation stand out is the use of the entire ginseng plant — root, stem, leaf, and green berry — rather than the root extract alone. This whole-plant approach, harvested at the peak of the ginseng's potency, delivers up to 7x higher nutritional concentration than conventional ginseng extracts. Combined with RYO's patented Root Volumer™ technology — which visibly lifts and thickens the appearance of roots — the result is hair that not only sheds less over time but looks noticeably fuller and healthier from the very first use.
For anyone in Bangladesh struggling with hair fall, postpartum shedding, stress-related thinning, scalp dryness, or simply hair that has been weakened by years of chemical treatments and heat styling — this is a deeply effective, professionally formulated solution that you can use at home, every time you wash your hair.
Who Is This Treatment For?
This treatment works across all hair types and is suitable for both men and women. It is particularly impactful for those who are experiencing noticeable hair fall during washing or brushing, thinning at the crown or hairline, or hair that breaks easily and lacks body.
People with dry, damaged hair — whether from colouring, perming, heat styling, or chemical treatments — benefit significantly from the deep conditioning and repair elements of the formula. The treatment nourishes not only the scalp but the full length of the hair shaft, restoring moisture, softness, and elasticity to brittle, over-processed strands.
Those with scalp dryness, itchiness, or mild scalp irritation will find relief from the herbal botanical blend, which is specifically designed to soothe inflammation while stimulating a healthier scalp environment.
It is equally suitable as a preventative treatment for those who have not yet experienced significant hair loss but want to protect their hair health proactively — particularly in Bangladesh's climate, where heat, humidity, water quality, and stress all contribute to scalp stress and accelerated hair thinning.
Who Should Exercise Caution?
Those with severely sensitive scalps or known allergies to ginseng, herbal extracts, or fragrance should perform a patch test before full application. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm or behind the ear and wait 24–48 hours before proceeding.
If you have an active scalp condition such as psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis, or open wounds on the scalp, consult a dermatologist before introducing this or any active treatment.
Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should seek medical advice before using products with concentrated herbal actives.

Realistic Results Timeline
Consistent, regular use is the key factor in achieving meaningful results with any hair loss treatment. The active ingredients in this formula work cumulatively — deeper, longer-lasting change happens over weeks and months, not days.
In the first 1–2 weeks of use, most people notice immediate improvements in hair texture, softness, and scalp comfort. Hair feels more hydrated and manageable after each wash. The Root Volumer™ technology also delivers a visible lift at the roots from the very first application.
By weeks 3–6, the scalp environment begins to shift. Itchiness and dryness reduce noticeably, and hair shedding during washing and combing may begin to decrease. Hair appears fuller and healthier in overall condition.
After 6–12 weeks of consistent use, the cumulative effect of scalp nourishment and follicle strengthening becomes more visible. Many users report a noticeable reduction in hair fall, improved hair density at the roots, and stronger, less breakage-prone strands overall.
Results may vary depending on the underlying cause of hair loss, individual scalp condition, consistency of use, diet, stress levels, and overall hair care routine. This product is not a medical treatment and cannot address hair loss caused by underlying medical conditions. If hair loss is severe or sudden, please consult a dermatologist or trichologist.
How to Use
Step 1 — Shampoo first. Wash your hair and scalp thoroughly with shampoo, ideally the RYO Hair Loss Care Shampoo for best synergy. Rinse out the shampoo completely and gently squeeze excess water from your hair until it is damp but not dripping.
Step 2 — Apply to the scalp first. Dispense an appropriate amount into your palm — roughly the size of a 50-cent coin, adjusted for your hair length and thickness. Part your hair into sections and apply the treatment directly to your scalp using your fingertips. Focus on areas of concern such as the crown, hairline, or temples.
Step 3 — Work through the lengths. Once the scalp is covered, distribute the remaining product through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair to condition and nourish the full strand.
Step 4 — Massage gently. Using the pads of your fingers (not your nails), massage your scalp in small circular motions for 1–2 minutes. This stimulates blood circulation and enhances the absorption of the active ingredients into the follicles.
Step 5 — Wait, then rinse. Leave the treatment on for 2–3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Avoid hot water, which can strip moisture from the scalp and hair.
Can be used daily as a replacement for regular conditioner. For intensive care during heavy shedding periods, use 3–4 times per week consistently.
Ingredient Breakdown: Why This Formula Works
Whole Ginseng Complex (Root, Stem, Leaf & Green Berry)
The centrepiece of RYO's formulation philosophy. Most hair care products use only ginseng root extract, but RYO's Whole Ginseng Complex utilises the entire plant, harvested in June when active compounds are at their highest concentration. Ginsenosides — the primary active compounds in ginseng — stimulate blood circulation in the scalp, nourish weakened hair follicles, and have been shown to extend the anagen (growth) phase of the hair cycle. The result is stronger roots, reduced shedding, and improved hair density over time.
Root Volumer™ (Patented Technology)
RYO's proprietary Root Volumer™ is a patented hair-volumising system that coats and lifts the hair at the roots, creating the appearance of thicker, fuller hair from the first use. While the deeper benefits build over time, this technology delivers an immediately visible improvement in hair volume and body — making it particularly beneficial for fine, limp, or flat hair.
Red Ginseng Extract (홍삼)
Red ginseng — ginseng that has been steamed and dried to increase the concentration and stability of its active compounds — provides additional antioxidant protection to the scalp, helps combat oxidative stress that contributes to follicle damage, and supports the overall health of the scalp microenvironment.
Camellia Oil (동백 오일)
A deeply nourishing botanical oil revered in Korean hair care tradition. Rich in oleic acid and omega fatty acids, Camellia Oil penetrates the hair shaft to restore moisture and elasticity, reduce breakage, and add a natural, healthy shine to dull or damaged hair. It is lightweight enough not to weigh hair down, making it appropriate for fine and normal hair types as well as thicker, coarser hair.
Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5)
Panthenol is attracted to the hair shaft and binds to it on contact, effectively coating each strand with moisture and sealing the cuticle. This results in improved hair flexibility, reduced breakage, and increased shine. On the scalp, it provides soothing and hydrating benefits that reduce itchiness and irritation.
Sorbitol & Xylitol (Aquaxyl™ Moisture Complex)
A clinically validated moisturising complex that optimises the scalp's water reserves, limits transepidermal water loss, and helps maintain a balanced, healthy scalp environment. Dry, tight, or flaky scalp conditions are significantly improved with consistent use of this complex.
Herbal Botanical Blend (Licorice Root Extract, Green Tea Extract, Houttuynia Cordata, Ginger Root Extract)
A synergistic blend of time-honoured Korean and Asian herbal ingredients that soothe scalp inflammation, provide antioxidant protection, improve circulation, and support the overall health and resilience of the scalp. Licorice Root calms irritation and redness; Green Tea delivers powerful catechin antioxidants; Houttuynia Cordata has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties; Ginger increases blood flow to the follicles.
Dimethicone & Amodimethicone
Conditioning polymers that smooth the hair cuticle, detangle, reduce frizz, and improve the overall manageability and appearance of hair. They provide the rich, creamy texture that makes this treatment easy to apply and distribute evenly.
Glutamic Acid
An amino acid that is a natural building block of the hair's keratin structure. It helps strengthen the hair shaft from within, reducing vulnerability to breakage and improving the overall resilience of chemically treated or heat-damaged hair.
About RYO: The Brand
RYO is a premium Korean hair care brand established in 2008 under AmorePacific Corporation — one of Asia's most respected and research-driven beauty conglomerates, with over 50 years of advanced scalp research technology originating from 1973. RYO's founding philosophy is rooted in Hanbang — the ancient tradition of Korean herbal medicine — combined with modern trichological science to address the root causes of hair loss, not just its symptoms.
The brand's signature product, the Jayangyoonmo Shampoo, has achieved sustained bestseller status not only in Korea but across the ASEAN region, making RYO one of the most trusted and recognised hair care brands in Asia. Every RYO product is 100% made in Korea, dermatologist-tested, and developed using carefully selected functional ingredients registered with South Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) — one of the world's most stringent regulatory bodies for cosmetic and functional product approval.
RYO's approach is grounded in the belief that healthy hair begins with a healthy scalp. Rather than masking symptoms, their formulations target the scalp environment — the foundation from which all healthy hair growth begins.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the RYO Hair Loss Care Treatment a conditioner or a separate step?
It is a dedicated scalp and hair treatment that functions as both a scalp care product and a hair conditioner. It can be used as a direct replacement for your regular conditioner. Unlike a standard conditioner, it is designed to be applied to both the scalp and the hair shaft, delivering active ingredients where hair loss begins — at the root.
How often should I use this treatment?
It is safe for daily use. For best results during active hair loss, use it 3–4 times per week at minimum. It can replace your conditioner entirely on wash days.
Can I use this treatment if I don't have severe hair loss?
Yes. A healthy scalp is the foundation of strong, beautiful hair. This treatment is excellent as a preventative measure, helping to maintain a balanced scalp environment and nourish follicles before visible thinning begins.
Is this product safe for colour-treated or chemically processed hair?
Yes. The formula is designed to nourish and repair damaged hair. The conditioning and protein-based actives help restore elasticity and moisture to hair that has been compromised by colouring, perming, or heat styling.
How long before I see results for hair loss?
Immediate improvements in softness, root volume, and scalp comfort are noticeable from the first use. Meaningful reduction in hair fall and improvement in hair density typically requires 6–8 weeks of consistent use. Hair growth cycles are slow — patience and consistency are essential.
Is RYO available in Bangladesh?
Yes. You can order the original RYO Hair Loss Care Treatment 300ml in Bangladesh from thealoy.com. We stock only authentic, original Korean haircare products in Bangladesh, delivered with fast and reliable service.
What is MFDS registration and why does it matter?
MFDS (Ministry of Food and Drug Safety) is South Korea's government regulatory authority, equivalent to the FDA in the United States. A product registered with the MFDS has been evaluated and approved as a functional cosmetic — meaning its anti-hair loss claims are backed by clinical evidence reviewed by a government body. This is a significant mark of credibility and safety.
Can both men and women use this treatment?
Yes. The formula is effective for both men and women experiencing hair thinning or loss. The active ingredients address the common mechanisms of follicle weakening, scalp imbalance, and hair shaft damage that affect both genders.
