SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Tea-Trica B5 Cream (1.5ml) — Korean Gel Cream with 5% Panthenol, Tea Tree & Centella Asiatica | Barrier Repair, Sebum Control & Deep Hydration | Sensitive, Oily & Acne-Prone Skin | Made in Korea
A Vitamin B5 Cream That Doesn't Feel Like One
Panthenol, or Vitamin B5, is one of skincare's most reliable barrier-repair and hydration ingredients, but used at high concentrations it can sometimes leave a tacky, slightly sticky residue that takes a while to fully settle. SKIN1004 built the Tea-Trica B5 Cream, available at thealoy.com, specifically to solve that trade-off, formulating a genuinely rich 5% Panthenol concentration into a gel-cream base that melts smoothly into the skin and absorbs without the heaviness or stickiness typically associated with panthenol-forward formulas. The result is a cream that delivers the ingredient's well-documented barrier-strengthening and moisture-locking benefits while still feeling light enough for daily, twice-a-day use, even on oilier skin types.
That Panthenol is paired with SKIN1004's signature Tea-Trica complex, a blend built on Tea Tree Leaf Water at a notable 9.4% concentration alongside Chamaecyparis Obtusa, or Cypress, Water, both chosen for their calming, antibacterial properties that help manage inflammation and the early signs of breakouts. Layered into this base is Madagascar-sourced Centella Asiatica, the same agriculturally traceable ingredient at the heart of SKIN1004's wider product range, here marketed in part through the brand's "Cica Exosome" technology, a centella-derived ingredient positioned to support skin repair alongside the formula's standard Centella Asiatica Extract. Niacinamide adds further skin-conditioning and tone-evening support, while Ceramide NP works to reinforce the skin's natural lipid barrier, a particularly important addition for sensitive or compromised skin that's lost some of its ability to retain moisture and defend against irritants.
The formula also includes a multi-weight hyaluronic acid system, combining Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, and Sodium Hyaluronate to deliver hydration at different depths within the skin, alongside Beta-Glucan for additional moisture support and Mandelic Acid, a gentle alpha hydroxy acid known for both mild exfoliating and antibacterial properties, making it a fitting addition for skin managing both dryness and occasional breakouts. Allantoin and Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate round out the soothing profile, working alongside the Tea-Trica base to calm visible redness and discomfort.
Skin Type Suitability
Sensitive skin: Formulated to soothe immediate irritation, lower surface redness, and reconstruct a fragile moisture barrier without harshness.
Oily skin: The featherlight gel-cream structure supplies non-sticky hydration while utilizing oil-control botanicals to manage heavy shine.
Acne-prone skin: Incorporates clarifying tea tree and gentle mandelic acid to address active blemishes and minor texturing cleanly.
Who Is This Product For?
Compromised barrier sufferers: Perfect for anyone whose skin barrier has been stripped down by over-exfoliation, strong clinical actives, or dry weather stress and needs deep repair.
Oily skin profiles seeking repair: Ideal for those who need the intense lipid protection of Panthenol and Ceramides but hate the suffocating weight of heavy ointments.
Bangladeshi shoppers searching for authenticity: An excellent match for anyone in Bangladesh searching for terms like best barrier repair cream for sensitive oily skin in Bangladesh, original Korean centella moisturizer Bangladesh, or authentic SKIN1004 products in Bangladesh, all of which lead back to verified stock at thealoy.com.
Who Should Avoid This Product?
Tea tree allergic individuals: Because the formula features a combination of both Tea Tree Leaf Water and active Tea Tree Leaf Oil, individuals with a known contact allergy should patch test first.
Exfoliant layering purists: Those with exceptionally reactive skin already using multiple prescription or high-strength chemical acids should monitor usage due to the integrated trace amount of Mandelic Acid.
Standalone very dry skin types: If your face suffers from intense seasonal flaking and requires extreme oil occlusion, this lightweight gel texture may be better suited as a layering step rather than a solo moisturizer.
Skin Concerns It Helps With
Weakened moisture barriers: High-factor 5% Panthenol working alongside Ceramide NP repairs micro-tears in the skin’s defensive lipid layers.
Inflammatory flushing and redness: The concentrated Tea-Trica complex works dynamically to cool down hot, irritated skin surfaces and ease swelling.
Dehydration lines and cell tightness: A multi-weight hyaluronic acid system trickles moisture into different deep tissue levels to plump up parched cells.
What Results Can You Realistically Expect?
Immediately: The cooling gel-cream melts seamlessly onto the facial surface, absorbing rapidly without leaving behind a tacky, sticky, or heavy residue film.
Within 1 to 2 weeks: Users with barrier-compromised skin notice visibly reduced localized redness, less afternoon tightness, and a generally calmer complexion tone.
With ongoing usage over weeks: The skin feels steadily more resilient against daily city grime and pollution, alongside a more balanced oil-to-moisture ratio across the T-zone.
How to Use
Apply as your daily final step: Take an appropriate amount of the gel-cream and apply it over your clean face and neck following your toning or serum stages.
Pat for absorption: Gently pat the product into the skin using both palms, allowing the natural warmth of your hands to aid absorption rather than rubbing it across skin layers.
Twice-daily routine: Use consistently both morning and night as your standalone daily moisturizer, always pairing it with a separate broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day.
Ingredient Breakdown
5% Pure Panthenol (Vitamin B5): A deeply rich, proven percentage included to accelerate skin repair pathways, prevent moisture loss, and strengthen defensive barriers.
9.4% Tea Tree Leaf Water & Cypress Water: The botanical foundation of the Tea-Trica complex, selected for natural antibacterial action, oil regulation, and redness control.
Ceramide NP & Niacinamide: A powerful cellular restorative duo engineered to patch up damaged skin lipids while evening out uneven post-blemish marks.
Multi-Weight Hyaluronic Acid Matrix (Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate): A tiered hydration network that locks ambient moisture deeply into multiple cell levels.
Mandelic Acid & Centella Extracts: Gently sweeps away rough surface texturing while providing signature Madagascar-sourced Cica soothing protection.
About SKIN1004
SKIN1004 is a South Korean skincare brand built around a singular, defining focus: Madagascar-sourced Centella Asiatica. The brand's name is itself a reference to its mission, since "1004" is a homonym for "angel" in Korean, reflecting SKIN1004's aim to act as a guardian for skin rather than chasing passing trends. While the brand's wider lineup centres on Madagascar centella, this Tea-Trica B5 Cream reflects SKIN1004's deliberate effort to address sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin specifically, pairing its signature centella ingredient with a dedicated Tea Tree-based complex and a meaningfully high Panthenol concentration for a more targeted barrier-repair solution.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will a 5% Panthenol concentration feel heavy or sticky on my oily skin?
Despite the high concentration, the gel-cream base is specifically engineered to melt smoothly into skin, absorbing into a fresh, lightweight finish rather than the tacky residue panthenol can sometimes leave in other formulas.
Is this cream suitable for oily skin given its hydrating, repair-focused positioning?
It is, since the Tea-Trica complex is specifically included to help balance and control excess sebum alongside the formula's barrier-repair benefits, making it a fitting daily moisturizer for oily and combination skin rather than just dry or sensitive types.
How does this differ from SKIN1004's other Centella-based moisturizers, such as the Centella Calming Gel Cream?
The key distinction here is the meaningfully higher Panthenol concentration and added Ceramide NP, positioning this cream more specifically toward barrier repair and deep hydration alongside its calming, sebum-balancing benefits.
Is the 1.5ml sachet size enough to properly trial the formula?
This trial portion typically offers a handful of full-face applications, making it a useful, low-commitment way to see how your skin responds before committing to the full-size jar.
