SkinFood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off 120 g

SKINFOOD Black Sugar Mask Wash Off 120g | Premium Mineral-Rich Organic Black Sugar Dual Exfoliating & Pore-Smoothing Scrub Mask | 100% Original Made in Korea

Product Overview & Benefits

Managing rough micro-textures, stubborn blackheads, and uneven skin dullness in a high-humidity tropical climate like Bangladesh requires effective, deep-pore clarifying care. Daily environmental pollution, excess sebum, and sweat can accumulate on the skin's surface, creating a layer of dead keratin cells that dulls your natural glow and leads to makeup caking or pilling. SKINFOOD Black Sugar Mask Wash Off addresses these concerns by combining physical manual exfoliation with the natural glycolic acid benefits of unrefined sugar.

What lifts this classic wash-off mask to global cult-favorite status is its Mineral-Rich Organic Black Sugar Architecture. Unrefined black sugar contains essential minerals—including Phosphorus, Calcium, Iron, Potassium, and Magnesium—alongside natural Glycolic Acid (AHA). As you massage the mask over damp skin, the sugar crystals physically buff away dead surface scales while releasing natural AHA properties that dissolve intercellular bonds binding dead skin cells together.

To buffer the skin against mechanical friction, the formula is suspended in a nourishing base of Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Shea Butter, and Candleberry Wax. These plant-derived emollients cushion the skin during massage and leave behind a soft protective hydration layer once rinsed away. Dermatologically tested and free from harsh synthetic abrasives, this mask transforms coarse, bumpy complexions into touchably smooth, radiant skin.

Who Should Avoid This Product

• Active Inflamed Acne & Cystic Lesions: Physical scrub granules can agitate active, pus-filled blemishes or weeping breakouts.
• Hyper-Reactive & Severely Damaged Barriers: Avoid using physical scrubs if your skin mantle is currently raw, peeling, or burnt from strong active over-exfoliation.
• Do not massage the scrub directly across open bleeding cuts, weeping eczema flares, or unhealed raw skin sores.

What Skin Concerns Does It Help Address

• Rough Surface Micro-Texture: Buffs away flaky, coarse keratin accumulation for a soft, silky feel.
• Blackheads & Clogged Pores: Physically and chemically loosens sebum plugs trapped inside pore walls.
• Sallow Dullness & Loss of Radiance: Exfoliates dead surface cells to uncover a bright, luminous complexion.
• Uneven Makeup Application: Smooths out dry patches to prevent liquid makeup from settling or caking.
• Excess Midday Sebum: Sweeps away accumulated surface oil and daily urban grime.

Expected Skincare Results Timeline

• Immediate (First Wash): Skin surface feels instantly smoother, polished, and velvety. Flaky patches and rough bumps disappear after rinsing.
• Within 14 Days (Using 1–2 times weekly): Blackhead accumulation drops noticeably, pore tracks look cleaner, and makeup applies with seamless uniformity.
• After 4 Weeks: Surface skin cell turnover stays balanced, skin texture remains refined, and the face maintains a clear, healthy glass-skin glow.

Note: Results are not guaranteed and may vary depending on skin type, barrier condition, environmental factors, and consistency of use.

How To Use

Using your black sugar wash-off mask correctly ensures effective exfoliation without causing friction-induced irritation.

Step-by-Step Application

1. Cleanse your face thoroughly with a mild, barrier-friendly wash. Leave your face slightly damp.
2. Dispense an appropriate amount of SKINFOOD Black Sugar Mask onto clean, dry fingertips.
3. Apply evenly across your face, avoiding the immediate eye socket and lip areas.
4. Gently massage in soft circular motions. To minimize friction on sensitive skin, mix with a few drops of water or hydrating toner in your palm before applying.
5. Leave the mask on for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the natural sugar minerals and oils to absorb.
6. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, gently massaging away remaining granules, and pat dry with a soft towel.

Daily Skincare Pro-Tip & Usage Frequency

• Water Dilution Hack: If you have delicate skin, mix a small scoop of the mask with water or a gentle cleanser in your hands first. This partially dissolves the sugar granules, creating a milder, softer exfoliating paste.
• Recommended Frequency: Use 1 to 2 times a week as a treatment mask. Always follow with your favorite hydrating serum and moisturizer.

Ingredient Breakdown

• Organic Black Sugar (Sucrose): Rich in natural minerals and Glycolic Acid (AHA) that gently exfoliates dead skin cells, dissolves surface impurities, and smooths texture.
• Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil: A non-comedogenic plant oil rich in essential fatty acids that cushions the skin during scrub massage and seals in moisture.
• Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax & Shea Butter: Emollient plant waxes that restore softness and protect the skin barrier against moisture loss.
• Lanolin: A deeply hydrating lipid compound that softens rough patches and conditions dry tissue layers.
• Caramel: Adds to the natural color and provides mild antioxidant benefits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will SKINFOOD Black Sugar Mask Wash Off irritate sensitive skin? Because it contains physical sugar granules, direct scrubbing can feel abrasive on hyper-sensitive skin. To avoid irritation, apply it over very wet skin or mix it with water or a liquid cleanser in your palm to dissolve the granules slightly before massaging.

How often should I use this black sugar scrub mask? Using it 1 to 2 times a week is ideal for most skin types to maintain smooth texture without over-exfoliating the skin barrier.

Can I use this product if I have active pimples? If you have inflamed, active pimples or open acne wounds, avoid scrubbing directly over those areas. You can still apply the mask to non-acne zones like the nose or chin to clear blackheads.

What is the main difference between SKINFOOD Black Sugar Mask and Black Sugar Perfect Essential Scrub 2X? The Black Sugar Mask Wash Off is the original classic scrub formula focused on direct, physical exfoliation and deep pore cleansing. The Essential Scrub 2X features a refined, softer sugar texture combined with rice wine extracts for gentler daily brightening.
